The brief was to create a double page advert highlighting 0% interest on a range of bicycles. It was important for me to try and work some sort of aspirational imagery into a very product focused advert. I managed to work in a bit of the great outdoors in the form of some epic scenery as a header and footer. Any form of cycling (like most things) is all about the lifestyle.

FINANCE ON BIKES - SPREAD THE COST - OVERVIEW
I always like to approach my design work by thinking what will flick the switch of the target audience and try and build in some cues that hint towards a lifestyle (that is only achievable by buying X product). Its always about denotation, connotation and myth – a theory I learned in GCSE media studies that has remained with me and been a strong set of guidelines for my work.
I feel the advert did a reasonable job of reinforcing the Tweeks Cycles brand and showing empathy with the customer hopefully creating confidence of the brand.
