HISTORIC MOTORSPORT EMAIL CAMPAIGN - PROJECT OVERVIEW

This is just one of the many email campaigns I have designed while at Demon Tweeks. Every once in a while a brief will present an opportunity to create something which is more fun than usual to put together.

For this historic clothing email, I decided to give it a vintage look and create a painted image akin to the vintage racing posters of the 1950s and 1960s. I channeled my inner artist and illustrated a picture of a Jaguar Lister at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. This last fact is significant…

I pride myself in having good knowledge of automotive culture and love to build in significant or aspirational elements to my designs. The Jaguar Lister is a Significant and rare car pictured at La Source corner with it’s distinctive red and yellow curbing found at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps which is widely regarded as a dangerous race track that separates the men from boys.

I love to talk about the hidden language of cars!

Even though in its final composition the image is fairly small, I feel it works well and it was good to remind myself about the artist hiding within!
