NOBLE M400 GT CUP - OVERVIEW

Demon Tweeks has its own garage and fitting centre services and from time to time this presents good opportunity to generate imagery that can be used for a variety of uses. Sometimes something really quite special will come in.

This particular car is a Noble M400 GT Cup that had seen life as a race car once campaigned by Mike Gardner and has since been converted back into a road car. This in many ways is harder than making a road car into a race car! There were many stand out features on this car that made it a little special but with limited time available, I had to capture its badass essence in full.

I lit this picture with a single speed light and this particular image is probably one of my better ones made using this technique. I say this because I managed to control the spill a little better, and control the light along the waist of the car a little better. I also managed to light the background in a subtle way. I feel like this image says I’m a race car ready to rearrange your insides. This message could be attributed alongside other elements to create different narratives quite easily. Good images make good design work a lot easier.

I feel with this image I have reached a stepping stone – I now have a clearer vision of how and where I need to improve.

I wanted to make this image to see if I could create a composite image and place the car onto a new background. This has helped me to see where I need to broaden my skills.
