3SDM Email

3SDM is a British wheel brand with a sophisticated and clean design ethic. Their wheels can be seen on some of the best show cars around the world and as ever, I always try to convey some element of aspiration and cultural understanding within my designs. although you can’t make out the wheels on the big Audi in the hero image (they are 3sdm’s), the stance of the car, the Japanese licence plate (everything in Japanese car culture is cooler), the fact its rolling down a city street and the liberty walk style body kit all suggest a very aspirational lifestyle littered with key brand names.

Key on-trend styles, brands that are recognisable by their product and cultural aspirations make it a very layered image for an educated car fan. What appears to be just a car driving down a street to most people is something very different to today’s sophisticated automotive enthusiast. By tying in these aspirations with the 3sdm brand its almost like saying ‘these are required to give you the lifestyle you want’. This is the myth and I was very careful to protect 3SDM’s own brand identity when I was putting together this email.
